The Summer Wind

With the end of school days away, and my daughter's dance classes culminated to an incredible recital, I am pleased to say that summer will be full of work on the novel, short stories, and some good old-fashioned family fun sprinkled in. I'll be doubling my efforts this summer while enjoying time with my family and visiting my sister later this month. This is going to be a great summer! Keep eyes pealed for new excerpts to appear soon, very soon!

    Enjoy your work time during the easy months of summer. I tend to get distracted by all that warm sun and the abundance of fun activities. Thank goodness I am in planning and first draft mode now. I work in a notebook at that stage and can go sit by the garden to jot down ideas.

    Isn't summer wonderful? I feel so productive during the summer....when I'm not full time at my regular job. LOL :)

    LGS- sunny days tend to be wonderful distractions and inspirations.

    Gabrielle- I love summer because the days are so much longer and therefore time to work and enjoy.

    Lizzie- I've been waiting for this since the end of last summer.
